Upgraded CCV Reroute Kit for 2011–2025 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke

Advanced crankcase vapor and oil-mist control for compatible 2011–2025 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke diesel engine.

The SPETUNER Upgraded 6.7 Powerstroke CCV kit is designed for owners who want more oil-vapor control than a basic CCV reroute. It combines an application-specific reroute system with an internal oil-separation assembly designed to help separate suspended oil mist before crankcase vapor continues through the system.

Unlike a conventional external catch can that requires regular manual draining, the upgraded internal design is intended to return separated oil after engine shutdown. This provides a cleaner, lower-maintenance configuration without requiring a large external collection tank.

Important fitment note: Certain 2025 models may require CCV sensor retention or modification. Confirm your vehicle and selected variant before ordering.

What Makes the Upgraded CCV Kit Different?

Internal Oil-Mist Separation

The internal assembly uses a baffled separation design to help remove suspended oil mist from crankcase vapor. This can reduce the amount of CCV oil residue routed toward connected intake components compared with the original factory routing.

Automatic Oil-Return Design

The internal separator is designed to allow collected oil to return after the engine is switched off. This reduces the need to inspect and manually drain a conventional external catch can.

Flow-Focused Crankcase Routing

The system is designed to maintain a smooth crankcase vapor path without unnecessary sharp bends or restrictive routing. Correct installation and hose orientation remain essential for proper crankcase ventilation.

Application-Specific Ford Fitment

Separate year options are available for compatible 2011–2016 and 2017+ 6.7L Powerstroke applications. Choose the correct Years and Colors options before adding the kit to your cart.

Choose Your Oil-Separation Configuration

This upgraded kit is offered with multiple manufacturer-rated oil-separation configurations. Actual separation performance can vary with engine condition, crankcase pressure, installation, temperature and driving conditions.

Product Option Positioning Recommended For
Remove 100% Oil Molecules Maximum Oil Separation; The highest-rated oil-separation configuration offered on this page. Owners seeking the maximum available internal separation configuration.
Remove 95% Oil Molecules High Oil Separation; A high-efficiency configuration that balances separation and system requirements. Owners seeking advanced oil-mist control for regular driving, towing or work-truck use.

Remove 90% Oil Molecules
Enhanced Oil Separation; The entry configuration within the upgraded product family. Owners who want the upgraded internal design at a lower entry point.

Before purchasing: Confirm what components are included with the selected Style. Percentage labels are product configuration names and should not be interpreted as guaranteed performance under every operating condition.

Upgraded CCV Kit Benefits

  • Advanced oil-mist control: The internal baffle is designed to separate oil from crankcase vapor before it continues through the reroute system.
  • Lower-maintenance design: Collected oil is designed to return after engine shutdown instead of remaining in a manually drained external container.
  • Cleaner intake routing: Helps reduce the amount of oil-laden CCV vapor directed into the factory intake connection.
  • No large external catch can required: The internal configuration provides oil separation without adding a large external collection tank to the engine bay.
  • Smooth vapor path: A flow-focused layout helps avoid unnecessary restrictions and sharp hose bends.
  • Year-specific configurations: Options are available for compatible 2011–2016 and 2017+ Ford 6.7L Powerstroke applications.
  • Multiple finishes: Available color options include Black, Red and Silver.
  • Installation support: A detailed online guide is available for additional fitment and installation information.

How the Upgraded 6.7 Powerstroke CCV System Works

The factory closed crankcase ventilation system routes crankcase vapor back toward the engine intake. Because this vapor can contain suspended oil mist, residue may gradually collect inside connected intake pipes and intercooler components.

The SPETUNER upgraded Ford 6.7 crankcase filter delete and reroute kit changes that vapor path. Crankcase vapor passes through the internal separation assembly, where the baffle is designed to capture suspended oil droplets. The remaining vapor then continues through the reroute system.

After engine shutdown, separated oil is designed to return through the internal assembly. This is the primary functional difference between this upgraded kit and a basic reroute or conventional manually drained external catch-can configuration.

SPETUNER Standard vs. Upgraded CCV Kit

Both SPETUNER systems are designed for compatible Ford 6.7L Powerstroke trucks, but they serve different needs.

Option Main Difference Best For
Standard CCV Kit Offers basic reroute, internal catch can and internal-plus-external catch can configurations. Owners looking for a more cost-effective CCV reroute or conventional catch-can setup.
Upgraded CCV Kit Uses an upgraded internal oil-separation and oil-return design with multiple efficiency configurations. Owners prioritizing advanced oil-mist control and reduced manual catch-can maintenance.

Looking for the Standard CCV Kit?

If you prefer a more cost-effective CCV reroute with conventional internal and external catch-can choices, compare the SPETUNER Standard configuration.

Installation

Read the 6.7 Powerstroke CCV Filter Replacement and Reroute Installation Guide

Installation commonly takes approximately 1–3 hours, depending on the truck model year, selected configuration, tools and installer experience. Review the complete installation guide before beginning.

Important Installation Checks

  1. Verify the model-year option: Confirm whether your truck requires the 2011–2016 or 2017+ configuration.
  2. Inspect the sealing surface: Clean the mounting area before installing the adapter and rubber sealing ring.
  3. Check component orientation: Install the internal assembly and routing components in the direction shown in the instructions.
  4. Avoid restricted routing: Keep hoses free of kinks and away from sharp edges, moving components and excessive heat.
  5. Secure all connections: Tighten clamps and fasteners evenly without damaging the hose or sealing components.
  6. Inspect after startup: Check for leaks, abnormal hose movement and unusual crankcase pressure behavior.
  7. Recheck after driving: Inspect every connection after the first drive and during regular engine-bay maintenance.

Compliance notice: Vehicle modification laws, emissions requirements, inspection rules and warranty conditions vary by location and application. Confirm applicable regulations before purchasing or installing this product. Use is limited to permitted applications where required by law.
