Keep Your Powerstroke Clean and Powerful – CCV Delete Kit for 6.4L (2008–2010)
Are you tired of carbon buildup, oil blow-by, and performance drops in your 6.4L Powerstroke? Our CCV (Crankcase Ventilation) Delete Kit is designed to eliminate oil vapors from entering your intake system, protecting your turbo, improving throttle response, and extending engine life.
Perfect fit for:
-
2008–2010 Ford F250, F350, F450, F550 (6.4L Powerstroke V8 Diesel)

What This Kit Does
In the stock system, crankcase vapors are rerouted into the intake. Over time, this creates sticky carbon deposits inside the intercooler, turbo, and intake manifold, reducing power and increasing fuel consumption.
This CCV delete kit reroutes vapors externally, keeping your intake path clean and airflow unrestricted.
Why You Need a CCV Delete Kit
✅ Prevent oil and soot buildup inside the intake
✅ Protect your turbocharger from long-term damage
✅ Improve engine breathing and performance
✅ Reduce maintenance and cleaning frequency
✅ Increase fuel efficiency under load
✅ Perfect mod for deleted/off-road diesel builds

Product Features and Benefits
Prevents Oil Carbon Buildup and Enhances Engine Performance
One of the most significant benefits of this kit is its ability to prevent crankcase oil vapors from entering your intake system, which means no more clogging or carbon buildup in critical parts like the turbo. This keeps your intake clean and allows your engine to breathe better, improving performance. If you rely on your truck for heavy loads or long hauls, this mod can help maintain peak efficiency.
Extends Engine Lifespan
Carbon buildup can be a silent engine killer, leading to wear and tear over time. This CCV ReRoute Kit helps protect sensitive parts, especially your turbo, keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently by redirecting oil vapors away from your intake. It’s a solid investment in your engine’s health, helping you reduce maintenance frequency and costs.
Reduces Fuel Consumption and Maintenance Costs
A clean intake system means better fuel efficiency, especially when your truck is under stress or hauling heavy loads. This CCV ReRoute Kit boosts combustion efficiency by keeping your intake clear of carbon buildup, which helps reduce fuel consumption over time. Plus, by keeping things clean, you’ll avoid the frequent maintenance costs associated with intake clogging.

Q1: Why delete the CCV system on a 6.4L Powerstroke?
A1:
Deleting the CCV system on your 6.4L Powerstroke prevents oil vapors from rerouting into the intake system. This helps avoid carbon buildup inside your intake manifold, turbocharger, and intercooler, keeping your engine running cleaner and more efficiently.
Q2: What are the benefits of a CCV reroute on diesel engines?
A2:
A CCV reroute offers several key benefits:
-
Cleaner intake system
-
Longer turbocharger life
-
Reduced carbon deposits
-
Improved throttle response
-
Better fuel efficiency under heavy load
It’s one of the best preventative mods for diesel longevity.
Q3: Is deleting or rerouting the CCV worth it?
A3:
Yes. Especially for tuned, deleted, or high-mileage Powerstroke trucks. The small investment in a CCV delete kit saves you from expensive cleaning or repairs due to oil contamination inside the intake system.
Q4: What does the CCV system do in a Powerstroke diesel engine?
A4:
The CCV (Crankcase Ventilation) system vents oil vapors from the crankcase into the intake to reburn them. While this reduces emissions, it also allows oily vapors to coat the intake path, causing long-term buildup and performance issues, especially on diesel engines.
Q5: What happens when your CCV gets clogged?
A5:
A clogged CCV system can lead to:
-
Excessive crankcase pressure
-
Oil leaks around seals and gaskets
-
Poor engine performance
-
Blow-by residue in the intake
It may damage the turbo or cause the check engine light if left unresolved.
Q6: How do I know if my CCV system is failing or clogged?
A6:
Common signs include:
-
Oil residue around the intake piping or turbo
-
Increased oil consumption
-
Smoke from the breather or dipstick
-
Visible oil mist on engine bay components
These are good indicators that it’s time to clean or reroute the system.
Q7: Will a CCV reroute trigger a check engine light?
A7:
Not directly. However, if you're running emissions equipment (like the DPF/EGR), the system may detect changes in airflow or pressure. Using a proper tuner (e.g., Mini Maxx, EZ Lynk) resolves this easily. This mod is intended for off-road use only.
Q8: Can I install a CCV delete kit myself?
A8:
Yes. Most CCV reroute kits are DIY-friendly and can be installed with basic hand tools in 1–2 hours. Our kit includes everything you need, including an instruction guide and installation video for a smooth setup.
Q9: Does a CCV delete affect other diesel mods like intake or tuner?
A9:
No. Our kit is fully compatible with aftermarket cold air intakes, EGR delete systems, and tuners. It integrates cleanly with performance builds and doesn't require permanent modifications to the engine.
Q10: Can I replace the CCV filter instead of deleting it?
A10:
You can, but it’s a temporary fix. Replacing the CCV filter doesn’t stop oil vapors from reaching the intake. A full reroute or delete is the only long-term solution if you want a clean intake and better engine reliability.

Let customers speak for us
from 203 reviews
The product is great. Does what it's designed to do.
The instructions? Not so much. Luckily, the Customer Service people do their best when emailed and walk you through the process start to finish. The only other thing I'd like to see are the basic beginning settings for setting up "defuel". Every engine is different (Ford/Chevy/Dodge) and finding this info through forums is terrible.
I currently have the DPF deleted, the EGR turned off, and the race pipe has a 27" stainless resonator added to keep it quiet. It rolls coal on "Extreme" and the increase in power on "Stock" is very apparent. I run it on "Stock" 100% of the time and gained over 2 mpg so far on the first tank.
2013 F350 Crew Cab Dually 50225 miles on odometer. No rust anywhere, pristine Cali truck. I guess the original owner couldn't afford to drive it. LOL

It was packaged very nicely, quality is top notch and installation was very easy. Had installed in about an hour. That was taking my time and removing the old exhaust. Would highly recommend!

The craftsmanship is superb and wish I could say the same for the OEM Plastic CCV box. The four security screws were challenging and used Irwin external extractors versus easy outs.

I received both the EGR and Downpipe delete kit quick but there is no Tuner! No tracking number for the tuner and says all my parts have been delivered! What the heck no one spent a grand on a straight pipe and EGR! However they did fix it promptly and I did receive the tuner! So I would say five stars

Honestly, the exhaust was much nicer than I expected fitment wise. It fit just as well if not better than exhaust systems I have installed in the past that were a few hundred more dollars. Shipping time was pretty good as well… received it the same week I ordered it. That’s about all I can speak on for now as I have only put about 100 miles on it.

Everything you need and nothing you don't. The parts install really impressively smoothly.
Could definitely use better / ANY instructions, especially since youtube vids on deleting trucks have been taken down lately.
It took a day of searching and watching vids here and there to find out it is extremely important to go in a certain order:
1: install the tuner first
2: install a "smog equipment has been removed" tune even though the truck still has the equipment at the moment.
3: remove the dpf and egr bits

Money well spent. Install was simple. Do not misunderstand simple with easy. Although it was easy for me. Install of the MINI MAXX V2 was a bit different. The video provided on the site was not how my installation went. In fact it was very different. With that, it did go as expected. The tuner does have some what of a learning curve, not very much info out there now with all the bureaucratic garbage we, in the US, have to contend with. It is out there, just TOUGH to glein. The removal of that gargantuan nightmare of an exhaust filter was not for the faint of heart. It is heavy, and the connectors on all those sensors can be challenging. It will be worth the struggle. The removal of the Extra Grace Required part was the hardest part for me. Having had my exhaust and turbo out 2 times, one of the bolt heads got damaged in the last re-install. That took a huge amount of patience and correctly applied downward force and a special tool. FYI THE PYROS DO NOT READ CORRECTLY ON 2011 F350 IT WILL ONLY READ 1193°!
Then the block off bypass parts, easy install. Looks great and does everything I expected. As a plumber I was able to use some expansion couplings and cut the water tubes and did not use the supplied hose. Then back on the ground to install the exhaust pipe. That was a challenge. The hanger bracket wasn't quite on par and was bent a bit. Nothing like a torch and a quality set of Pittsburgh 3/4" box end wrenches. Got that squared away, lined everything out and the slip joint went in nicely. I only used one of the 3 bolt flange bolts because I saved 2 of the pressed in studs. The down pipe connector flange was a special kind of hurrah. Perseverance, busted knuckle, and lots of upward pressure, accomplished that.! Overall I like the kit, don't like it doesn't come with instructions, but if you're buying this kit I'm betting you're already a mechanic anyway. HUGE THANKS TO SPETUNER.
One more thing, FedEx delivered my 1st kit to 2 wrong addresses, SPETUNER made it right and sent out a new kit for my. That is worthy of my review!

DPF/DEF/EGR Delete 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke All-in-One Kit

Easiest and nicest exhaust I've ever installed.

The All-in-One Kit I used it on a 2020 3.0L Powerstroke. The fit was perfect.
What I Liked
Performance Gains
After installing the kit and applying a proper tune (Found separately), there was a noticeable improvement in throttle response and turbo spool. The freer exhaust flow helps reduce backpressure, letting the engine breathe better.
Cleaner Running, Reduced Soot
With the EGR system removed, I noticed less carbon and soot buildup in the intake path. Over time, this means fewer maintenance headaches from clogged EGR coolers or passages.
All-in-One Package
It comes with everything needed (delete plates, piping, block-offs) so you don’t have to hunt down individual parts. This makes the upgrade more cohesive and less fragmented.
