SPEtuner Gen-2 Filtered CCV Reroute Kit | 2011-2025+ Ford 6.7L Powerstroke

Keep your intake pristine and your engine bay smelling fresh. The SPEtuner Gen-2 Filtered CCV Reroute Kit with Rear Exit is the ultimate advanced crankcase ventilation upgrade for 2011–2025+ Ford F250, F350, F450, and F550 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke diesel engine.

Key Features

  • Eliminate Intake Sludge & Gunk: Completely stops oily blow-by vapors from coating your turbo compressor blades and insulating your intercooler, restoring maximum thermodynamic efficiency.
  • 100% Odor-Free Technology: Features a specialized internal filtration element that traps residual oil mist and neutralizes harsh blow-by smells, preventing unwanted diesel odors from drifting into your cabin or engine bay.
  • Rear-Exit Ventilation Routing: Safely channels filtered crankcase gases away from the engine compartment and down toward the rear chassis, maintaining a completely clean, smoke-free engine bay.
  • Protect Vital Sensors: Prevents oily residue from coating intake air sensors (IAT/MAP/MAF), ensuring your PCM receives accurate data for precise fueling and optimal performance.
  • Extend Engine & Turbo Life: By preventing carbon-forming oil deposits from entering the combustion chamber, your valves and pistons stay cleaner for long-term durability.
  • High-Capacity Filtration Canister: Built with a durable, service-friendly filter housing designed for easy maintenance and long-lasting performance under heavy loads.

What's Included in the Gen-2 Kit

This kit is "box-complete," providing professional-grade hardware for a seamless installation:

  • 1x CNC Integrated CCV Filter: Precision-machined billet aluminum with a built-in high-density oil-gas separation filter core
  • 1x High-Temp Reinforced Silicone Hose: For rear-exit routing
  • 1x Rear Exhaust Integration Port: CNC-machined adapter for seamless connection to the vehicle's main exhaust pipe
  • 1x Heavy-Duty Reversal Plug: Stainless steel hex-head plug for 100% non-destructive restoration to stock
  • 2x Stainless Steel AN-Style Fittings: Includes 1x Straight Male AN threaded fitting and 1x Tapered Threaded Hex fitting for secure hose connections
  • 1x Optimized Hardware Kit: Includes all necessary stainless steel bolts and high-torque worm gear clamps for a leak-proof seal
  • 1x O-Ring Seal: Pre-installed high-temp chemical-resistant seal for the main CCV filter

Why Choose SPEtuner Gen-2 CCV Systems?

Don't settle for basic vent tubes that leave your truck smelling like a refinery. SPEtuner engineered the Gen-2 system to solve every complaint associated with traditional reroutes:

  • No Under-Hood Odors: Our integrated filter media captures and neutralizes gases before they can pool around your cab vents.
  • Heavy-Duty Construction: Built from high-grade materials designed to withstand the brutal vibration, heat, and pressure of a modified 6.7L diesel engine.
  • Fast North American Shipping: Dispatched rapidly from our domestic distribution hubs to get your truck upgraded and running clean.

Installation

Step 1: Preparation

  • Ensure the engine is completely cool.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminals for safety.
  • Locate the factory CCV box on the driver-side valve cover.

Step 2: Remove Factory CCV Components

  • Disconnect the factory plastic vent lines from the CCV box.
  • Unbolt the factory CCV box from the valve cover (keep the mounting area clean).
  • Remove the factory intake resonance box or CCV cap if applicable to your model year.

Step 3: Install the CNC Integrated Filter

  • Ensure the Viton O-ring is properly seated in the groove of the new CNC Integrated CCV Filter.

  • Place the filter onto the valve cover.
  • Secure it using the provided stainless steel bolts.(Note: Use the optimized shorter bolt for the single-bolt engine cap piece as provided in the kit)
  • Torque to factory specifications.

Step 4: Route the Hose

  • Attach one end of the Reinforced Silicone Hose to the CCV filter using the provided AN-style fitting and clamp.
  • Route the hose along the frame rail toward the rear of the truck.
  • Pro Tip: Secure the hose away from moving parts (driveshaft) and extreme heat sources (DPF/exhaust manifolds) using heavy-duty zip ties.

Step 5: Exhaust Integration (Optional but Recommended)

  • Locate a suitable section on the rear exhaust tailpipe.
  • Install the Rear Exhaust Integration Port. (If your exhaust is already prepped, simply thread the adapter in.)
  • Connect the end of the silicone hose to the port and secure it with a stainless steel clamp.
  • If not integrating into the exhaust: route the hose to a safe exit point at the rear and secure it.
  • Note: Ensure the short side of the fitting’s cut face is oriented toward the exhaust pipe outlet.

Step 6: Final Inspection

  • Double-check all clamps and bolts for tightness.
  • Ensure there are no sharp kinks or pinches in the silicone hose.
  • Reconnect the batteries and start the engine.
  • Check for any air or oil leaks around the new filter

---tab FAQ---

FAQ

Q1: How is this "Integrated" kit different from a standard CCV Delete?
A1: Most standard kits are "hollow" and multi-piece, which can lead to leaks and zero filtration. Our Clean-Route™ system features a one-piece CNC-machined filter with a built-in high-density filter. It ensures a 100% leak-proof seal and captures oil particles before they leave the engine—something basic delete kits simply can't do.

Q2: Will I smell diesel fumes inside the cabin after installation?
A2:
No. That is the core benefit of our Clean-Route™ Rear Exhaust Integration. By routing the extra-long hose to the rear tailpipe, all blow-by gases are expelled out the back of the truck, keeping your cabin air fresh and odor-free.

Q3: Do I need to cut or permanently modify my exhaust pipe?
A3:
Our kit is designed to be 100% reversible. While it integrates into the exhaust, we include a dedicated heavy-duty plug. If you ever wish to return to stock, simply remove the hose and seal the port with the plug—no need to replace expensive exhaust components.

Q4: Is this kit compatible with my 2023/2024 6.7 Powerstroke?
A4:
Yes! This kit is precision-engineered to fit all Ford Super Duty 6.7L Powerstroke models from 2011.

Q5: Does the internal filter need to be replaced or cleaned?
A5:
The integrated filter is designed for long-term durability. Under normal driving conditions, it is a "set and forget" component that requires no regular maintenance, as captured oil naturally drains back into the engine.

Q6: Will this help prevent intercooler oil buildup?
A6:
Absolutely. By rerouting the crankcase gases away from the intake system, you stop oil mist from coating your intercooler and intake valves, maintaining maximum cooling efficiency and engine longevity.
