---tab Description---
SPEtuner DPF Delete Exhaust System & Complete EGR Delete Kit For 2007.5-2010 Chevy GMC LMM 6.6L Duramax
Take your 2007.5–2010 Chevy/GMC 2500HD/3500HD 6.6L LMM Duramax to the next level with the SPEtuner EGR & DPF Delete Suite. Designed specifically for severe off-road and race applications, this heavy-duty bundle combines a high-flow DPF delete pipe with a complete EGR removal system to eliminate factory performance bottlenecks once and for all.
By removing soot-clogging EGR components and restrictive particulate filters, you give your LMM engine room to breathe—delivering instant throttle response, lower operating temperatures, and maximum fuel efficiency.
Key Features
- Maximum Power & Efficiency: Drastically cuts exhaust backpressure to unlock hidden horsepower, torque, and mpg.
- Faster Turbo Spool-Up: Significantly improves throttle response and reduces turbo lag.
- Cooler Engine Temps: Lowers Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) to protect your turbo and engine under heavy loads.
- Zero Soot Recirculation: Stops abrasive soot from re-entering your intake, preventing carbon buildup and costly engine wear.
- No More Maintenance Hassles: Say goodbye to endless, fuel-wasting DPF regeneration cycles and clogged EGR valves.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Built with precision-engineered, high-grade materials for seamless, leak-free, race-ready durability.
Specification
- Exhaust Material: T-409 Stainless Steel(Magnetic)
- Thickness: 2mm thick for long-lasting durability and heat resistance
- Inlet Diameter: 4"/5"
- Mandrel-Bent Construction: Maximum flow efficiency, helping your diesel breathe easier
With or Without High Flow Intake Elbow Pipe?
EGR Delete Kit with High Flow Intake Elbow Pipe
- Boosts airflow, reduces intake restriction, and sharpens turbo response for smoother, quicker power delivery.
- Lowers intake air temperatures via an optimized elbow design, improving combustion efficiency.
- Built for performance builds—perfect for tuned engines, larger turbos, or maximum power output.
EGR Delete Kit without High Flow Intake Elbow Pipe
- Removes EGR to eliminate carbon buildup and overheating while keeping the stock intake system.
- More affordable—ideal for budget-focused users who don't need extra airflow upgrades.
- Geared toward daily driving, offering solid fuel economy and basic power gains, but limited airflow enhancement.

---tab FAQ---
FAQ
Q1: Which trucks and engines are compatible with this delete kit?
A1: This kit is designed specifically for 2007.5–2010 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD (2500HD & 3500HD) models powered by the 6.6L Duramax LMM V8 Diesel engine. It is not compatible with earlier LBZ (2006–2007) engines or later LML (2011–2016) engines.
Q2: Does the 2007.5–2010 LMM Duramax use DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid / Urea)?
A2: No. The LMM Duramax platform was factory-equipped with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system, but it did NOT come from the factory with a DEF / SCR fluid system (DEF was introduced on the 2011+ LML platform). This kit removes the physical DPF filter and EGR system.
Q3: Is custom ECM tuning required to run this kit?
A3: Yes, tuner support is mandatory. Removing the DPF filter and blocking or removing the EGR valve disconnects factory exhaust and pressure sensors. Without a delete-capable tuner (such as EFI Live, Mini Maxx, or AutoCal) to reprogram the ECM, the truck will immediately throw Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), trigger a Check Engine Light, and enter 30-mph Limp Mode.
Q4: Do I need to remove the entire EGR cooler, or can I just use blocker plates?
A4: The kit accommodates both approaches. Using EGR blocker plates is quicker and allows you to leave the cooler in place without draining coolant. However, performing a full EGR removal cleans up engine bay space, completely prevents future EGR cooler cracking/coolant leaks, and ensures maximum intake airflow.
Q5: Is this kit legal for street driving?
A5: No. This kit is strictly intended for off-road, competition, or race track use only. Federal EPA guidelines and local state laws (such as CARB in California) prohibit the removal or disabling of factory emissions equipment on vehicles operated on public highways.
